2006-07 District Ranger of the Year Evaluations
The district Ranger of the Year evaluations will be held September 22, 2007 at Christ Church A/G, 5301 Alta Mesa Blvd., in Ft. Worth. Registration is from 8:00 - 8:30, Orientation is at 8:30, and the evaluation begins at 9:00. Boys need to be in full Class B uniform to participate in the district ROTY evaluation.
Outpost Ranger of the Year medallions, if needed, can be ordered directly from GPH. Ranger of the Year name tags can be ordered from a local trophy store; Ken Johnson, one of our district's Royal Rangers commanders, also has them available. Sectional ROTY medallions are available from the district.
Questions about the Ranger of the Year program can be directed to Martin Smith, our district programs coordinator. Even though the 2006-07 evaluations are ongoing right now, boys are already earning points toward the 2007-08 ROTY. Commanders should be looking at the study guides that are posted on the national Royal Rangers web site to help prepare their boys for next year's evaluation process.
